Frame – Linux X server in Assembly

The author wrote a custom X server called "Frame" in Assembly, replacing the 4-million-line Xorg with about 20,000 lines of code, and runs an entire desktop stack (window manager, terminal, greeter) all in Assembly totaling ~100,000 lines. Idle CPU usage is about three times lower than Xorg, contributing to improved battery life, and the system is stable enough for daily use including Firefox.
