Live news, not cached guesses

Most AI assistants answer questions about current events from memory. The model has a cutoff date, and anything after that is stitched together from training data or guesswork. Mu does not do that. When you ask about today’s news or a recent event, Mu runs a live search against a real news feed. The answer you get comes from articles published minutes or hours ago, not from a static snapshot of the internet.

This matters for accountability. If the answer is wrong or incomplete, you can trace it back to the source article. The feed tells you the headline, the publication date, and the outlet. There is no black box. Mu tells you when the results are from a limited archive, and if the provider is temporarily unavailable, the answer will say so plainly rather than fabricate something plausible. The trade-off is that the feed is not exhaustive. Some stories may be missed, especially from smaller outlets or regions outside the provider’s coverage. That is honest. A live feed will never pretend to know everything, but what it does know is verifiable.
