The Confederation of African Football (CAF) unanimously reaffirmed its support for FIFA president Gianni Infantino, who is seeking re-election in March, while UEFA has committed to boycotting future World Cups under his leadership. CAF president Patrice Motsepe endorsed Infantino but stressed the need for good governance and transparency, following the controversy over the abandoned proposal to sell World Cup commercial rights.
