A 162-year-old bottle of Guinness was discovered in a shipwreck off the coast of Dover by a Belgian diver in 2025. Samples from the bottle have been sent to a Belgian university for analysis, with researchers hoping to learn about the stout's original taste and potentially recreate the 1864 brew. The diver believes dozens more bottles remain buried at the site, and there is a possibility the recovered stout is still drinkable.
