Qantas shares rose 4% after the airline reported full-year earnings and introduced new business-class seats with lie-flat beds and privacy doors for its Airbus A321XLR and Boeing 787-9 fleets. The carrier posted underlying profit before tax of A$2.06 billion, driven by strong demand for premium travel, with international premium cabin revenue growing 15%. Qantas expects domestic and international unit revenue to rise 8% to 10% in the first half of fiscal 2027 despite higher fuel costs.
