Anthropic updates Claude voice mode with more capable models

Anthropic has updated Claude’s voice mode, allowing users to choose between Opus, Sonnet, and Haiku models, with the system defaulting to the fastest version of the last model used in text chat. The enhanced voice mode supports longer conversations and can integrate with apps like Gmail, Google Calendar, Slack, Canva, and Notion to perform tasks such as rescheduling meetings or drafting emails. The update is available in beta across platforms, with free users limited to the Haiku model and one connected app.
