Neo-Nazi who planned gun attack jailed after MI5 sting

Alfie Coleman, a 22-year-old neo-Nazi from Essex, was sentenced to 13 and a half years after being caught in an MI5 sting collecting a Makarov pistol and ammunition. He was convicted of preparing terrorist acts, having been radicalised online from age 14 and described in court as a "militant accelerationist" plotting a race war. The judge called him a "dangerous offender" with "virulently racist" views, noting potential targets in his manifesto included the Lord Mayor of London and a mosque.
